What To Expect: Our Placement Process
We keep it simple, respectful, and fast—because your time matters.
Step 1: Apply Online
- Choose your preferred location
- Review available roles and find one that fits
- Upload your resume and answer a few short questions
- Submit your application
You will receive immediate confirmation, and our team will follow up within two business days to let you know if your experience aligns with the position’s requirements.
Step 2: Initial Call
If your qualifications align, we’ll schedule a 15-minute call with a member of our HR team. We’ll:
- Confirm your experience and interest
- Answer your initial questions
- Explain the next steps
- For cleared positions, we’ll begin the security clearance verification process after this call
Step 3: Interview
You’ll meet with the Program Manager for the role. This is your opportunity to discuss the team, the mission, and how your skills fit into the bigger picture. During the interview, we will:
- Review and confirm your relevant skills, education, and experience
- Discuss team structure, expectations, and day-to-day responsibilities
- Explore how your goals align with PolarisGov’s mission
- Share why Polaris is a trusted partner across federal agencies
Step 4: Offer and Onboarding
If selected:
- You’ll receive an offer letter from our HR team
- Upon acceptance, onboarding begins immediately via secure email
- We’ll walk you through everything you need to get started confidently
